Editorial Policy

How recruitment content on JobInsights is sourced, prepared, reviewed and presented.

Last Updated: [DATE]

Sources we prefer

  • The official recruitment notification or advertisement document
  • Official recruitment board or agency websites
  • Official department websites
  • Official government notices, corrigenda and press notes where relevant

How a recruitment page is prepared

We start from the source document, then organise its contents into structured fields — post name, department, vacancy details, qualification, age limit, fee, important dates, selection stages and official links. Long notifications are processed in parts so that tables and annexures are not skipped.

AI-assisted processing may be used for reading and structuring documents. Key information is checked against the source document before publishing, and each page keeps a link to that source so readers can confirm the original wording.

Official information vs our summary

Text taken from an official notification is the authority's own information. Our headings, explanations, simplified tables and Hindi wording are JobInsights' presentation of that information. If the two differ, the official notification is correct.

Clarity and readability

  • An overview appears at the top of every recruitment page
  • Structured details such as dates, fee, eligibility and vacancies are shown in tables
  • Short explanations stay as plain text instead of forced tables
  • Official notification and official website links are provided on every page

Independence

Editorial decisions about which recruitments to cover and how to present them are ours. Advertising, if shown in future, will be kept visually separate from editorial content and will not influence how recruitment information is written.

Corrections

When an error is identified, we verify it and update the page. The process is described in our Corrections Policy and Sources & Verification Policy.
